Excess All Areas is more than an entertainment agency. We produce shows regularly and support the development of performers throughout their career through Workshops, 1-2-1 consultations and PR & Marketing Support to help performers develop throughout their career.
The only course of its kind in the UK, The Singers’ Cabaret Workshop is a unique opportunity to be mentored by top UK cabaret practitioners to craft your own totally individual cabaret set and persona. Ideal for anyone with previous singing experience looking to gain new skills and hone their craft.
1-2-1 consultations with Paul L Martin
Paul offers consultations to performers which are tailor-made to suit the needs of the individual. He gives insight, contacts, advice and support, sometimes slanted towards honing the artistic content of an act or routine, and sometimes on how to market yourself and to whom.
Sessions take place at our offices in SE London, are 1.5hrs long. There’s lots of tea and biscuits and a safe, calm space in which to help focus your mind on furthering your career
Paul has been in the variety business as a performer, producer, promoter and agent for over 25 years and has 16,700 plus contacts interested in cabaret, as well as all the top promoters and members of the press at his fingertips. Click here for further details.
PR & Marketing Support
We provide venue liaison and PR & Marketing support for people putting on their own cabaret show. We often work with The Pheasantry, building on five years of experience working with the Pizza Express group, initially at Pizza on the Park. We would contact members of the press, our 13,000-strong mailing list, the 4,000 people that visit www.excessallareas.co.uk each month, and our 8,000 social network followers, as well as over 40 listings sites. We co-produced a total of ten shows at The Pheasantry last year under the banner of ‘Paul L Martin presents’. Testimonials from recent customers: click here>>

Sharing Flyer Costs
We can help with the cost of your flyers if you have a show to promote. You advertise your show on one side, we advertise Excess All Areas on the other and we share the cost! If you’re interested, then please email firstname.lastname@example.org and feel free to share this with others.
If you are at the start of your career or developing a new act, don’t be afraid to fill in a New Artist Form.
Our weekly Open Mic West End Wendies is a great opportunity for singers to develop their skills working with a live audience or to experiment with new material in a welcoming environment.
It is also a good time to meet with one of the Excess All Areas’ team to discuss performing opportunities, so please join us at the Toulouse Lautrec Jazz Club on a Thursday evening.
